Soft Motion

For smooth movement

A perfect solution for quiet environments. It reduces the opening/closing speed of doors, lids, panels, or drawers. It enhances human safety, avoids consequential damages due to the elimination of shocks, and brings convenience to the user.

Once actuated and the panel is slightly pushed up or down, it will slowly and naturally close. Several products feature an adjustable speed mechanism to finetune the motion to your specific application.

Ideal for:

  • Lids in shock-sensitive equipments in medical or laboratory applications, 
  • Door and slide rails in high precision manufacturing processes,
  • Panels in high-end machinery or consumer products, etc.

Free Stop Motion

Hold in any position

It can hold the door, lid, panel, or cover in any position during opening or closing. Ideal for top-opening covers in a production line, as it allows the cover to be held open in any position. 

  • Because no stopper is necessary, speedy checks and maintenance actions are possible. 
  • No extra elements to hold the panel or door are needed, clearing additional space inside the machine. 
  • Users do not have to worry about slamming covers or doors, bringing extra safety, and ensuring your products remain damage-free.

Another application example is the use for displays in airplane seats. It enables a monitor to be adjusted to the level of adults’ or children’s eyes.

Power Assist Motion

Helps you open

Assists in opening/closing heavy doors, panels, lids, or covers.

  • It enables heavy access doors or maintenance panels to be opened or closed with one hand. 
  • Your machinery safety level improves as the traditional gas spring solution is no longer needed. 
  • The access opening to the workspace is greatly improved, the design complexity and costs are significantly reduced. 

Ideal for larger-sized production equipment in a factory assembly line, analytic devices, kitchen equipment, food catering displays, or automated robotic handling processes. For many products, the lift assist force can be adjusted to suit specific requirements.

 

Click Motion

Snap and stop

Temporarily holds door, lid, panel, or cover during opening/closing at a certain angle with a unique feel.

  • Ideal for a measuring device in a laboratory since it enables a lid to be held at a certain angle. 
  • Also prevents a panel or a cover from moving freely, so users don’t have to worry about it falling down on an expensive instrument.
  • Another application example is the use in mobile flip phones, handheld gaming consoles, or wireless controllers.

The mechanism features two grooved rotating parts with spring loaded balls between them. While moving, the balls will fall into the grooves, realising temporary holding.

Unique Motion

New openings

It enables a door to move parallel and decreases the space needed to open the door. An open panel will no more obstruct narrow corridors in a factory where several machines are operating. The wide opening makes it easier to take something in and out.

Combining the movements of multiple shafts, arms, and axis, we elevate motion design to a more sophisticated level of control:

  • HES 7-axis concealed hinge technology assures full opening/closing without hitting the door or panel next to it. 
  • HT-160 concealed clip-on hinge series emulates the graceful movements of the praying mantis. Ideal for overlay doors.
  • MonoFlat LIN-X hinge technology enables less door projection for tight spaces. Monoflat series is ideal for large-size machines such as in food processing or printing.
